Our newspaper ads this weekend were full of Valentine offerings.  One ad I liked, had an offer of diamonds and roses, with an opportunity to enter a drawing for a pair of stud diamond earrings worth $50,000.  I think I wouldn't mind being a winner of that drawing.  I know, there are taxes to be paid.  I wonder of a person could get a wholesale price for tax purposes.

The picture for the ad showed a dozen roses, and in the roses on a couple of the stems were the diamonds.  I thought the image was very appealing.  I neglected to enter, however.  I wonder how many folks did.
When we bought our home, my husband had 6 vases of a dozen roses sent.  When I came to the house to paint there were bouquets everywhere.  How beautiful!
